The waterski school in El
Gouna does not exist anymore, we
have left El Gouna from January 2007, and said goodbye
from the spot where we had been since 1997.
Anybody claming that there
is a pro waterski or wakeboard spot in El Gouna has no
idea what he is talking about, the last place from which
we were operating, after we were forced to relocate from Sheraton
Miramar, is a lagoon which is extremely wavy.
Yes, when
there is no wind you will
be able to ski or board, (depending on what kind of boat
they are
having), fact is, in that case you will have the
chance to ski around 5 days per month.
The "new
waterski school" in El Gouna
is operating from Abydos Marina on a part of the open sea, a
place which I know by heart, and I am feeling very sorry for
these guys, but it is 95% of the time pretty wavy on
the open
sea in El Gouna, not to
mention the danger with all the wooden diving boats moving around
that particular
marina. (prevealing wind in El Gouna is NNE to NNW,
average 21km/h, which is great for kite surfing)

El
Gouna
is not worth it anymore
to book a waterski or wakeboard holiday, El
Gouna is nice for holidays (and nothing but for holidays
only), forget the reall waterskiing and wakeboarding there.
Sorry that I have to come
with this kind of news, the
whole story is actualy even worse than this, if you
want to know more than simply contact us.
The new location from which
we are operating is Jazira
Waterski
, this place is a lot
better, even our old location which we had in Sheraton
Miramar is compared to our new spot nothing.
