Slalom
The water at our primary slalom area is a dream for slalom
skiers, flat, the whole day long, every single day, the length
is perfect for an easy entry gate set-up, no wind effects,
simply a very steady smooth natural run, one trick though, the
water is salt and very fast, a great challenge.
This area
is still under construction, we are currently working to get around 16.000
car tires in the water to prevent any back-wash.
Our seconday slalom area is ready since the 23rd of
November 2007, at this place we have every morning till around
12 noon perfect calm water, in the afternoon the wind tends
to pick up a bit and dies down again at the
end of the day giving us again perfect conditions.
Our course is a standard 6
bouy slalom-course (according to IWSF norms), as slalom boat we
are using a MasterCraft ProStar 190, our eyes are looking out
for a new Ski Nautique which has to be fully equiped,
this boat will start operating in our primary slalom
area.
